Great Decision: Vijay Deverakonda pledges to donate his organs

On the occasion of Children’s Day, PACE Hospitals in association with Liver Pancreas Foundation of Hyderabad organized a Pediatric Liver Transplantation Awareness Program.  The young actor Vijay Deverakonda has set an example to a lot of youngsters through his films and welfare activities. Recently, Vijay Deverakonda attended an event conducted by Pace Hospitals, where he spoke about the importance of organ donation.  He took the pledge to donate his organs. World Famous Lover actor said that he doesn’t see any point in wasting his organs. He added that he would take care of his organs properly so it could help people after him.  Now everyone is appreciating the actor ‘gesture.

 Taxiwaala fame actor added that he would love to be a part of someone else’s life after his demise.  The Pace Hospital shared a small video and tweeted: Vijay Deverakonda | Encouraging Organ Donation at Adult and Pediatric Liver Transplantation Awareness Program, PACE Hospitals #VijayDeverakonda #livertransplant #pacehospitals.

 On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen playing the lead role in Puri Jagannadh’ magnum opus Liger which was a dud at the box office. It was also heard that their second project, Jana Gana Mana, has been shelved due to the failure of Liger.  Currently he is working with Samantha for Kushi.

RRR latest Japan Box office collections

RRR Japan Box Office collections :  SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR,  starring Young Tiger Jr NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan, which is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment was released on  October 21 and received superb response. The film has the music by Baahubali fame  MM Keeravaani. The big budget drama  RRR has recorded highest first week collections for an Indian film in Japan. The film also has  Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran and Ajay Devgn in the important roles. Now according to the latest report, RRR has collections $1,715,810 from Japan till date.

The Industry tracker Ramesh Bala confirmed the same by sharing a post on Twitter: At the #Japan Box office, #RRRMovie has added $138,533 in its 4th weekend for a Total of $1,715,810[Rs 14 Crs]..

The movie is showing excellent hold even on working days. The film gross collections is in the range of Rs 14 Crs, in Indian currency.

Rajamouli’ film  RRR was released on 209 screens and 31 Imax screens across 44 cities and prefectures in Japan, the widest for an Indian film in the country.   It was the only foreign film at Japanese box office, ahead of  the movies  Spencer, The Bad Guys and Jurassic World Dominion.

At the #Japan Box office, #RRRMovie has added $138,533 in its 4th weekend for a Total of $1,715,810[₹ 14 Crs]..

CM KCR plans for Krishna’s last rites with state honours

The entire Tollywood is in grief, after Superstar Krishna left the world today. Many celebrities from Telugu cine field are paying tributes to the legendary personality. Krishna breathed his last today in the morning in Hyderabad.

The chief minister of the state K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to plan Krishna’s last rites that are going to take place tomorrow. He has also directed the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar  to run the last rites ceremony with state honours. The late actor’s mortal remains have been kept at Vijay Krishna’s Residence Nanakaramguda,  Hyderabad. 

Later, they will be taken to Gachibowli Stadium to allow the public to pay their tributes towards the senior actor. His final rites will happen tomorrow at Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. 

As a sign of solicitude, the Telugu film producers’ council announced that the film shootings would be stopped on November 17. They will also release an official statement regarding this.

Apart from Samantha, Yashoda which is base on Surrogacy also has Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Kalpika Ganesh, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Divya Sripada, Priyanka Sharma in pivotal roles.

 In  this  drama Yashoda, Samantha plays a surrogate mother, who risks her life to save young pregnant women from a surrogacy scam.  This is the second most successful Telugu film in recent time after Karthikeya 2.

Tollywood veteran actor Krishna passes away at 79

Suffering from respiratory problem, Tollywood Superstar Krishna was admitted to hospital yesterday and he was on ventilator throughout night. He was brought to hospital in an unconscious state but was revived after 20 minutes of CPR. His condition was critical and doctors did their best on their treatment given to the actor. But unfortunately, he breathed his last this morning. He was 79. 

Krishna’s son Mahesh Babu and other family members were present at the hospital. Krishna’s death is a great loss to the Telugu Film Industry, as he was one of the main pillars of TFI in 80s and 90s. The entire Film industry is offering their deep condolences to the actor’s sudden demise. 

Krishna’s full name is Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, and he was popularly known as Krishna. He was born on May 31, 1942 at Burripalem in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. He entered the Telugu Film Industry in early 1960s with small roles. He debuted as the lead actor with the blockbuster movie Thene Manasulu, released in 1965. He acted in more than 350 films in a career spanning 5 decades. He also directed and produced a few films.

He became one of the most sought after actors with a super hit movie Gudachari 116, a spy film released in 1966. He also acted in nearly 6 James Bond like movies. One of his films Sakshi, which was released in 1967, won critical acclaim at the Tashkent film festival. In 1972, he received a national film award for the film Pandanti Kapuram in the category of best feature film. Krishna is known for many landmark movies like Seetharama Raju(1967), which was a first cinemascope movie, in Telugu, Eenadu (1982), first Eastman color film, and Simhasanam (1986) the first 70 mm film. 

Krishna founded Padmalaya studio in 1970 and produced some successful movies under his banner. Superstar Krishna married Indira Devi in the year 1965. They had two sons including Mahesh Babu and three daughters. In 1969, he married actor Vijay Nirmala and he had one son from her. Vijaya Nirmala died in 2019. Krishna was a well-wisher of the former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi. He joined the Congress party in 1984. He was elected to Lok Sabha from Eluru in 1989 but lost the election in 1991 from the same constituency. After Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination, Krishna stepped out of politics.

Krishna was reported to be depressed since the death of his wife Indira Devi, a couple of months ago. Earlier this year, he also lost his elder son Ramesh Babu. Another Tollywood hero gets hospitalised

This morning, we heard that senior hero Superstar Krishna was admitted to hospital in Hyderabad due to respiratory problems. And it was also revealed that the actor’s health condition is stable and there is nothing to worry about it.

Now, another incident is shocking the Telugu audience that the young hero Naga Shaurya was also admitted to hospital just a few hours ago. He fainted at the shooting spot. He was on a diet for the last 3 days to give his best for the role. 

He was immediately admitted to AIG hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. According to his medical reports, doctors said that the actor got dehydrated and his health condition is safe. They also said that Naga Shaurya will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.

Really, today is a bad day for Tollywood, for getting heard of such tragedies on the same day. Naga Shaurya is all set ro marry his childhood friend Anusha Shetty in Bengaluru this Sunday.
