After the release of her successful romantic comedy film Hasee Toh Phasee (2014), Adah Sharma ventured into the South Indian film industries and delivered Heart Attack, directed by Puri Jagannadh in which she shared the screen space with Nithiin. She has been the part of few Telugu movies like S/O Sathyamurthy, Subramanyam for Sale, Garam, and Kshanam.
Currently Adah Sharma is busy in her upcoming Tamil movie Charlie Chaplin 2, a sequel of Charlie Chaplin which was released a decade ago. Prabhudheva is playing the lead role. Recently during the media interaction, the actress said, “I’m very happy that Charlie Chaplin 2 is my debut in Kollywood. My father was always keen that I do a Tamil film. Tamil is my mother tongue, so this was fun.” It is directed by Shakthi Chidambaram, produced by T Shiva of Amma Creations and has the music by Amresh, who rose to fame with Motta Siva Ketta Siva.
