The pre production work of Akkineni Akhil starrer upcoming romantic entertainer has been started, which will be helmed by Venky Atluri and produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner of SVCC. Nidhhi Agerwal is on the board to play the female lead role.
Akhil started his family career as lead actor with Akhil:The power of Jua, which was an action entertainer but unfortunately VV Vinayak’s directorial venture was disaster at the box office. Though the movie received negative remarks but the performance of Akhil was highlighted. Later Akhil came up with another action drama ‘Hello’, produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Kalyani Priyadarshan played the female lead role. This movie was also bombed at the box office. Now instead to using action genre, Akhil is coming up with a romantic entertainer. The sources close to the film unit say that the makers are considering the title of this film as ‘Mr.Majnu’. The official confirmation is awaited regarding the title.
The film makers of Mr. Majnu are making all arrangements to start the first schedule of the film in London from mid may. It will be 45 days schedule and the makers are going to can few crucial scenes and a romantic song on the lead pair. The locations have been already finalized.
During the launch event of Akhil film, the makers said, “The film will have a mix of comedy, drama and emotions. It will have a youthful feel.”
it must be noted that Venky Atluri made his directorial debut with ‘Tholi Prema’ starring Varun Tej and Raashi Khanna, which was opened to rave reviews from critics and audience. The film went on to become very successful at the box office. Nidhhi Agerwal made her acting debut in Bollywood with Munna Michael. Currently the actress is romancing with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, the brother of Akhil, in Savyasachi.
