Rangasthalam is helmed by creative and talented film maker Sukumar and produced by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Sankar and C. V. Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for village based drama Rangasthalam. R. Rathnavelu handled the cinematography work of Rangasthalam whereas Navin Nooli handled the editing department. Rangasthalam was distributed by Ram Charan’s Konidela Production Company
Apart from the lead pair, Rangasthalam has other stars like Aadhi Pinisetty, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagapati Babu, and Prakash Raj in supporting roles. The film is about a fictitious village called Rangasthalam, which needs to battle its opressive head. Ram Charan and his brother’s fight to bring him down forms the crux of Rangasthalam. Rangasthalam competed with Superstar Mahesh Babu & Kiara Advani starrer Bharat Ane Nenu, directed by Srimanthudu fame Koratala Siva, Stylish Star Allu Arjun & Anu Emmanuel starrer Naa Peru Surya, Keerthy Suresh & Dulqer Salmaan starrer Mahanati- the biopic of legendary actress Savitri, directed by Nag Ashwin, at the box office but the collections of Rangasthalam is unstoppable at the box office.
