Young Rebel Star Prabhas starrer upcoming action and romantic entertainer Saaho has completed the first two legs of shooting and recently the actor performed high octane action stunts in Abu Dhabi for his film. Saaho is spy thriller drama, being helmed by Sujeeth Reddy of Run Raja Run fame. Malayalam star Lal has also joined the set. The talented actor will be seen sharing the screen space with Prabhas in this upcoming multilingual big budget drama Saaho. The sources close to the actor says that Lal is playing positive role in the movie and most of his screen time is with Prabhas.
During the media interaction Lal said, “ The director of Sahoo, Sujeeth Reddy called me last years and said that he wanted to meet me regarding a Telugu movie. When I met Sujeeth, at that point, I was not aware that Prabhas is also the part of this project. I like my character so I gave my green signal. I don’t think they have narrated the entire story to anybody. It’s not a simple story. Saaho will also have schedules in Europe.”
Lal also l heaped praises on Prabhas. The actor said, “The success of Baahubali does not leave any change in Prabhas’s attitude. Prabhas is one of the star who respects Malayalam artists very much and working with him is a great experience.”
Saaho is being bankrolled by Vamsi Krishna and U Pramod under the banner UV Creations. The upcoming drama is made on a whooping budget of Rs 300 crores of which Rs 90 cr have been earmarked for its action sequences alone. The makers are planning to shoot the most of its action sequences in abroad and it is choreographed by the internationally acclaimed stunt director Kenny Bates.
Shraddha Kapoor is playing the love interest of Prabhas in Saaho. Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Jackie Shroff, Niel Nitin Mukesh and Mandira Bedi in supporting role. Bollywood Shankar – Ehsaan – Loy are on the board to render the tune. R Madhie is cranking the camera and A Sreekar Prasad editing it.
