Honey Rose spoke about the presence of the casting couch in the Malayalam film industry. She said, “You are safe as long as you don’t have to please anyone physically.”
There is no need of any introduction for Malayalam actress Honey Rose who has been the part of few Telugu movies like Ee Varsham Sakshiga and Aalayam. Honey Rose started her filmy career with Boyfriend, which was released in 2005. Recently in an interview, which was aired on Television recently, Honey Rose opened up about on whether casting couch does exist in the film industry or not.
Honey Rose said, “Casting Couch exists in Film Industry. Unless or until you are a big star, every female artist gets to face various problems.” Honey Rose further said, “ I have witness many such type of incident.” At the same time, she also added that each individual has a dignity and it’s us who decide how to lead the life.
Honey Rose said, the female actresses have to take precautions to not fall victim to abusers. she added, “You are safe as long as you don’t have to please anyone physically. In my case, my mother and fathers always accompany me on my sets and they always make sure that I am at ease during my work. In fact my mother used to attend most of my phone calls.”
Honey Rose also talked about her controversial lip lock scenes from the movie 1 by Two. The actress said that the director hadn’t revealed about the lip-lock scene prior to the shooting of the movie but later he convinced her. She was disappointed because her lip lock scenes was used for the publicity of the movie.
On the work side, Honey Rose who was last seen in Omar Lulu’s adult comedy Chunkzz, which was one of the biggest successes of the year 2017, will be next seen in upcoming movie Chalakkudykkaran Changathi, directed by Vinayan.
