When a fans asked to Nani about his project with Puri Jagannadh. Nani said, “There is no truth in this news. I am not going to do any movie with Puri Jagannadh.” Nani replied “Not True” clearing all the air around it.
It was also being said that Natural star Nani and Temper director Puri Jagannadh had recently met to lock this project. However, a confirmation from MCA star Nani now has cleared all the air around it.
Puri Jagannadh’s previous offering Mehbooba starring his son Akash Puri and Mangalore based Neha Shetty, was bombed at the box office. Mehbboba was an intense love story set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Recently Puri Jagannadh announced that one again he is going to helm a project for his son Akash Puri and currently he is busy in the script work.
Meanwhile Nani is hosting the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 2 Telugu and also working for a multistarrer in the direction of Sri Ram Aditya in which Officer star Akkineni Nagarjuna is playing the lead role. The sources say that Naresh and Tamil actor Manobala are playing the important roles in this film. Nani has also announced his next upcoming project Jersy, a sport based drama in the direction of Gowtam Tinnanuri of Malli Rava fame.
Puri Jagannadh is one of the best directors of Telugu Film Industry. He has also worked in Kannada industry and introduced Puneeth Rajkumar. In 2011 Puri Jagannadh worked with Amitabh bachchan. Though his earlier released movies like Loafer, ISM, Rogue and Mehbooba have turned out commercially flop at the box office but there is no denying that Puri Jagannadh has done good work in past (Golimaar, Businessman, Heart Attack and Temper).
