Sony Pictures, the studio uploaded an entire film ‘Khali the Killer’ onto YouTube, labelled as a trailer. Khali the Killer clocked over 11,000 views before being taken down.
Sony Pictures, the entertainment company just accidentally uploaded the full movie Khali The Killer to YouTube instead of just the trailer. While the upload was labelled as the trailer for the movie on YouTube but viewers quickly realized that Sony Pictures had actually uploaded the film in its entirety.
Khali the Killer: Official Red Band Trailer was intended to offer fans by Sony Pictures but viewers were unknowingly treated to the entire movie. Sony Pictures took over six hours to remove the upload, which clocked over 11,000 views. Khali the Killer was live for around eight hours before being removed from YouTube.
The audiences have watched full hour-and-a-half runtime of the movie for free this week after Sony Pictures uploaded the film to YouTube under the video title ‘Khali the Killer: Official Red Band Trailer’. Khali the Killer is all about the story of a hit man Khali who has decided to retire take on one last job to pay for his dying grandmother’s care.
Khali the Killer has received some pretty awful reviews, with a score of 3.8/10 on movie database IMDB.
One reviewer said: “He’s a hit-man. He’s suppose to be a culinary master, but his kitchen is empty. He’s suppose to be Latino, but he doesn’t speak Spanish.
Another reviewer wrote, “Terribly written and with a fake 70’s style that is grating and laughable. Obviously written and directed by someone who doesn’t know anything about Latinos. Pathetic.”
Khali The Killer, directed by Jon Matthews, starring Richard Cabral, is set to be released in select theaters on 31st August 2018.
