Sumanth is currently busy in his upcoming movie Idam Jagath. Today the makers have released the teaser of this upcoming crime thriller drama Idam Jagathm which is receiving decent response by the movie lovers. The sources close to the film unit reveal that Sumanth is playing a photojournalist and his role has negative shades. Today morning Sumanth shared the link of Idam Jagath teaser on his Twitter and captioned it, “ And here’s the link for the #IdamJagath teaser!” It seems Idam Jagath is inspired Dan Gilroy’s directorial venture Nightcrawler. Most of the scenes in the teaser of Idam Jagath are directly lifted from the Hollywood thriller Nightcrawler. The audiences, who have watched Nightcrawler, did not found anything new in this teaser but it is grabbing the attention of those who have not watched the original Nightcrawler. The American neo-noir thriller film Nightcrawler starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rene Russo, Riz Ahmed and Bill Paxton, was released in 2014. Nightcrawler is all about the story of a stringer who records violent events late at night in Los Angeles and sells the footage to a local television news station.
The film’s shooting has been wrapped up and the post-production works is going on at brisk phase. The movie is expected to hit the theaters in September.
Sumanth starrer Idam Jagath is directed by Anil Srikantam and jointly produced by Jonnalagadda Padmavathe and Gangapatnam Sridhar under the banner of Viraat Films and Sri Vignesh Karthik Cinemas whereas it has the music by Sricharan Pakala. Anju Kurian is playing the female lead.
