If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, noted director Koratala Siva is planning to turn producer. He is going to bankroll a small budget movie this year. The sources close to the director Koratala Siva reveal that he is waiting for a call from Mega Star Chiranjeevi. Earlier it was heard that Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva are teaming up for a project but recently Chiru announced his project with Trivikram Srinivas. On the other side, as there is still a lot of time to start much-awaited project featuring Chiranjeevi, disappointed Koratala Siva has decided to produce a movie which will be completed within 3 months. Very Soon Koratala Siva will make the official announcement regarding his production venture.
As a director, Koratala Siva started his career with Mirchi in 2013, in which Young Rebel Star Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay played the lead roles. In 2015, he directed Srimanthudu which was opened to positive critical reception and was a commercial success, grossing nearly Rs 2.0 billion globally, and becoming the second highest grossing Telugu film at the time. He then directed another film Janatha Garage which grossed an estimated Rs 135 crore. Later the director joined hands with Mahesh Babu for political drama Bharat Ane Nenu, which was also blockbuster at the box office.
On the other side, Megastar Chiranjeevi who has announced Koratala film long back, is currently busy in his upcoming movie Sye Raa, which is being directed by Surender Reddy and is bankrolled by Ram Charan. Lady Superstar Nayantara is playing the female lead whereas Tamannah Bhatia will be seen in supporting role. Recently Chiranjeevi has also announced his next film with Trivikram Srinivas, which will go on the floor this year. It is expected that Chiru and Koratala Siva film will go on the floor next year in 2020.
