28 years old Rakul Preet Singh becomes wife of 59 years old actor

In Tollywood, Rakul Preet Singh who was last seen playing the  full fledged female lead in Mahesh Babu starrer Spyder, is currently struggling for filmy offers. She was last seen in Karthi starrer bilingual Dev but the actress disappointed the audiences as the movie received negative response by the movie lovers on its opening day. We have already reported that recently Rakul Preet Singh signed Manmadhudu 2 in which 28 years old actress will be seen sharing the screen space with 59 years old actor Akkineni Nagarjuna. Now the source revealed that Rakul Preet Singh will be seen playing the role of Nagarjuna’s wife in this upcoming film. Really it’s a very bold decision.

 

However the sources close to the film unit revealed that Rahul Ravindran  has designed very exciting character for  Rakul Preet Singh. And as the actress is very impressed with her character, has agreed to come on the board. It has also come out that Rakul Preet Singh will make her screen presence in deglam avatar.

Manmadhudu, a 2002 rom-com, had Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead role and he had also bankrolled the venture under his home banner Annapurna Studios. The movie was directed by Vijaya Bhaskar with its story, screenplay and dialogues penned by the ace director Trivikram Srinivas. But this time Manmadhudu 2 will be directed by Rahul Ravindran, whose Chi La Sow did well at the box-office recently. After watching Chi La Sow, Nagarjuna offered Rahul Ravindran an opportunity to direct his next film in Telugu.

Apart from Manmadhudu, Akkineni Nagarjuna will be next seen in  Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham, which is a period drama directed by Priyadarshan. He will also be seen Bollywood period drama, Brahmastra.

It is known news that earlier Rakul Preet Singh was on the board to play the female lead in Naga Chaitanya and Venkatesh Daggubati starrer but later she was replaced by Raashi Khanna.
