Meenakshi Dixit added that her chemistry with Mahesh Babu is one of the major highlights of Maharshi. Her role will be quite glamorous in the film, which is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally of Oopiri fame.
Meenakshi Dixit is well known face for Telugu audiences. She had earlier sizzled in the Dookudu intro song and a special number in Baadshah starring Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal, and now she will be seen in a crucial cameo in Maharshi. Earlier Mahesh Babu and Meenakshi Dixit have worked together for Dookudu, where she also shook her leg for title track.
In Telugu Film Industry, Meenakshi Dixit was last seen in Adavi Kaachina Vennela, which was released in 2014. Now she is making her comeback in Telugu film Industry with Mahesh Babu starrrer Maharshi, in which DJ and Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava fame Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead.
Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi is being produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinemas. The film has music by sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad. Apart from the lead pair, the film has Sonal Chauhan, Jagapathi Babu, Naveen Chandra, Kota Srinivas Rao, Pavitra Lokesh, Brahmaji, Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Vidyullekha Raman and others in supporting roles.
