Divyansha Kaushik is making her Telugu debut with Majili, in which Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are playing the lead roles. She says, “I always wanted to be an actress and looked up to Kareena Kapoor as an inspiration. I have also been the part of several dramas. I did modelling and portfolio shoots, and when director Shiva Nirvana asked if I would be interested in a Telugu movie audition, I gave it a try. My mother Anju Kaushik, who is a makeup artist, helped me understand how the film industry operates.”
Divyansha Kaushik added, “I am very happy as I got the opportunity to act with Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya after their marriage. I am a fan of Samantha and I have a big crush on her. I have watched her film Makkhi and I would like to work with Samantha again.”
Divyansha Kaushik concluded it by saying that she wants to be part of commercial as well as meaningful cinema that helps her do justice to her character.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya starrer Majili is directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Sahu Garapati, Harish Peddi, Sushil choudhary under the banner Of Shine Screens Radf whereas it has the music by Gopi Sundar. The romantic entertainer Majili is scheduled to hit the theaters on 5th April 2019.
