Rana Daggubati becomes Panchayat Raj Ward Member

Rana Daggubati is popular for playing variety of roles.   It is known news that in Teja’s directorial venture Nene Raju Nene Mantri, he played the role of politician and in Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer NTR biopic, Rana Daggubati played the role of current Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu. Now the talented actor is getting ready to play the role of a politician in an upcoming movie Virataparvam 1992, which will be directed by Venu Udugula of Naadi Needi Oke Kadha fame. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Rana Daggubati will be seen playing the role of Panchayat Raj ward member in the movie. The regular shoot is expected to commence very soon.

 The sources say that Virata Parvam 1992 will be a romantic film, but will also have a lot of action and politics included to make the narration interesting. Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi is on the board to play the love interest of Rana Daggubati in this film.

In Telugu, Sai Pallavi was last seen in Hanu Raghavapudi directorial Padi Padi Leche Manasu, in which Sharwanand played the lead role. It was produced by Prasad Chukkapalli and Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas. Unfortunately the movie was ended up commercially flop at the box office.

 Earlier it was heard that  Nithiin and later Sharwanand were in talks to play the lead role in it, but eventually, the role went to Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati.

 On the otherside, currently Rana Daggubati is busy in his upcoming movies- Housefull 4, Hiranya Kashyap, Haathi Mere Saathi, Madai Thiranthu / 1945, and Enai Noki Paayum Thota, which are in different production stages.
