Vijay Deverakonda Vs Suriya

Currently all eyes are on Vijay Deverakonda starrer upcoming much awaited movie Dear Comrade, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 31st May.  According to the latest update, Vijay Deverakonda will have to compete with Suriya as his movie NGK is also arriving at the theaters on the same day i.e 31st May 2019.  Though Suriya starrer NGK is a Tamil movie and Dear Comrade a Telugu movie but both the movies NGK and Dear Comrade will be released in both Telugu and Tamil (dubbed version).

Vijay Deverakonda is one of the most respected and popular stars in the Telugu film industry today. His movie Dear Comrade is helmed by Bharat Kamma and produced by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar and C. V. Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers.   Rashmika Mandanna is playing the love interest of Vijay Deverakonda in this film.

Though the makers of Dear Comrade are tight lipped about Vijay Deverakonda’ character but the sources say that he will be seen paying a worker in the Singareni mines whereas Rashmika Mandanna is  essaying a cricketer playing for Telangana state.

Touted to be a socio-political drama NGK stars Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi in important roles. Suriya will be seen playing a leader in Selvaraghavan’s NGK – Nandha Gopala Krishnan.  The actor has started dubbing for the film and the audio launch event of the movie is likely to be held next month.

NGK producer SR Prabhu confirmed the same via a tweet, “Started dubbing for #NGK today Release plan to be shared in a week!. Apart from Suriya, Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi, the film has other stars like Jagapathi Babu, Ilavarasu and Ramkumar Ganesan in supporting roles. The production house DreamWarriorPictures  confirmed the release date, “#NGK releasing on May 31st #NGKfromMay31@Suriya_offl @selvaraghavan @thisisysr.” The movie is being produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and it has the music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
