Anil Agarwal has announced the donation of Rs 100 cr towards fighting the pandemic of Covid-19 coronavirus that has hit our country India. Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra also offered the facilities of the hospitality arm as medical care facilities while the group will work on how its manufacturing facilities can make ventilators.
Anand Mahindra warned India is already in stage 3 of transmission of covid-19 virus and he wrote on the wall of twitter that he is contributing 100 percent of his salary/income to it and will add more over the coming days.
The executive chairman of Vedanta Resources, Anil Agarwal confirmed it by sharing a tweet on his Twitter account and said, “I am committing Rs 100 cr towards fighting the Coronavirus. Many people are facing the problems and I am especially concerned about the daily wage earners, we will do our bit to help.”
Rs 100 Cr fund is part of Vedanta Resources’ endeavour to work with Government of India in combating the pandemic.
Industrialist Anil Agarwal said, “This fund is a first step on Vedanta’ behalf for fighting against covid-19 and we will increase it if the need arises.”
Now Anil Agarwal has joined the list of Anand Mahindra, Bill Gates and Jack Ma in the list of billionaires who are donating millions of dollars towards fighting Covid-19 coronavirus.
