Mega Star Chiranjeevi’ daughter in law, and Mega Power Star Ram Charan‘ wife Upasana suffered a huge personal loss. Upasana who is an active user of social media sites, took to her Twitter to share a sad news of her grandpa’ demise and revealed, “Our thatha, K Umapathy Rao of Domakonda-IAS 15th June 1928-27May 2020 was a man of great principles, selflessness, generosity and sense of humor. An Urdu Poet known for his Shayari and the first EO of TTD was a strong believer in the religion of kindness and generosity.”
Upasana Kamineni Konidela’s grandpa Kamineni Umapathi Rao breathed his last today. He was 92 years old. He was the last living person who was born at Domakonda fort, and he had served as an IAS officer and retired.
Kamineni Umapathi Rao was a highly principled civil servant upholding strong values of selflessness and generosity. Mr Rao rendered yeoman service during his tenure as a civil servant with the erstwhile Government of AP and held several responsible positions including Secretary Education, VC, Osmania University, he served as 1st Executive officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He was deeply committed to the empowerment of women.
Ram Charan’ wife Upasana shared a close bond with her grandfather, whom she fondly called Uma thatha.
