There is a bad news for the fans of Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan. His much hyped mind-bending espionage thriller, Tenet, has been postponed yet again. The $200 million film, Tenet which was scheduled to release 0n 31st July Worldwide, will now be released on 12th August.
On Thursday evening, Warner Bros. released a statement and made announcement regarding the new release date of Tenet. The movie Tenet, which cost $200 million, was initially slated to arrive in theaters on 17th July, but was later postponed until 31st July. Now, Christopher Nolan’ film will be released on 12th August.
Tenet features Hollywood Robert Pattinson, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, John David Washington and Elizabeth Debicki in key roles.
Tenet follows an operative tasked with preventing the next world war. Like most of Christopher Nolan’ movies, the espionage thriller is shrouded in secrecy. His film credits include The Dark Knight trilogy, Dunkirk and Interstellar.
The majority of cinema halls across the country have been closed since the latter part of March due to the coronavirus pandemic. As of now, Solstice Studios’ Unhinged, starring Russell Crowe, and Sony/TriStar’s romantic-comedy The Broken Hearts Gallery are set to open nationwide on 10th July and 17th July, respectively.
