Renu Desai, the ex-wife of Jana Sena Chief and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan has been trying to direct a movie in Telugu. She had made a film in Marathi, which ended up a dud at the box office. Recently Renu Desai moved to Hyderabad from Pune for her son Akira and daughter’ studies. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that she is making her comeback in the acting field in Telugu films. The reports also stated that Renu Desai has been roped in Mahesh Babu’ production venture Major starring Adivi Sesh to play the key role. But now she has refuted the rumor by saying that she has not signed the movie Major.
Adivi Sesh is currently working for his upcoming Telugu-Hindi movie ‘Major’, a biopic of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
Badri actress Renu Desai said that she has not signed any movies yet although she is planning to make her comeback. Johnny actress added, “Some time ago, when someone asked me about playing the role of mother on the screen, to which I said, ‘Yes’. Apparently, this answer has been twisted now. Truth is that I have not signed any movies.”
Renu Desai had played the female lead opposite Pawan Kalyan in ‘Badri’ and ‘Johnny’. Her last movie was ‘Johnny’.
