After Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth, it’s yet another star hero Thalapathy Vijay’ turn to receive a fake bomb threat. According to the latest update, Chennai Police got an anonymous call at around midnight on 4th July, claiming a bomb was planted at the residence of Thalapathy Vijay. The call was traced to a 21 years old with psycho-social disabilities.
The caller told the police that a bomb was placed at Vijay’ residence in Saligramam in Chennai. After receiving the call, the police rushed to Vijay’ house in no time and conducted a search throughout the entire night but no bomb was found. After some time, the police concluded that it was a hoax call and left the premises.
Later, when the Police officials traced the call, and found out that it was a call from a young man who has made similar fake calls in the past as well to create panic.
It is being heard that the man who made the fake call to police, lives at Marakkanam in Villupuram district of Chennai and he has made similar hoax calls for late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, Poducherry CM Narayanswamy and Poducherry Governor Kiran Bedi in the past. The police let the man go after issuing a warning.
