Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam, popularly known as SP Balasubrahmanyam, SPB, SP Balu has breathed his last. He has been fighting for his life in MGM Hospital, Chennai for the past 50 days. He has breathed his last at noon at 1:04 PM. MGM hospital authorities have confirmed the news.
SP Balu is an ace singer, musician, actor, dubbing artist, and film producer as well. He has sung 40,000+ songs and even got registered in the Guinness Book Of World Records for recording the highest number of songs by a singer.
The legendary singer has won six National Film Awards, 25 Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Awards. He has won several Kannada and Tamil Nadu State Awards. He has won Film Fare Award in Bollywood and six Film Fare Awards South.
SP Balu was tested COVID positive on August 5th. Though he recovered from the virus recently, the lungs never recovered. He was on ECMO/Ventilator support. There cannot be another SP Balu for sure. Rest In Peace, Legend!
