Natural Star Nani, who was last seen in Mohana Krishna Indraganti’ magnum opus V, will be next seen playing the lead role in Shyam Singha Roy, which is helmed by Rahul Sankrityan, who made his directorial debut with Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam fame Vijay Deverakonda starrer Taxiwaala, and it is being produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner of Niharika Entertainment. Today on the occasion of Dusshera, the makers of Shyam Singha Rao released a concept poster.
Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi and Uppena fame Krithi Shetty are on board as the leading ladies. The makers of Shyam Singha Roy released a concept poster of the film today marking the auspicious day of Dussehra where Nani is seen as a shadow image. There are idols of Goddess Kali also in the poster. The Howrah bridge is also seen in the poster.
Nani starrer Shyam Singha Roy is set in Kolkata and is said to be the costliest film made in Nani’s career. The movie Shyam Singha Roy has an old Calcutta backdrop and now it is being heard that some heavy duty sets will be built to recreate Calcutta from the early years.
Initially, the film makers planned to shoot Nani starrer in Calcutta but due to the corona virus pandemic, the makers dropped the idea and now they want to shoot it in the sets.
