Theaters and multiplexes all over India have been opened with the central government have given permission to screen movies. While some state governments express concerns, few of them have been functioning with 50 percent occupancy. In Andhra Pradesh, there are a few theaters that were reopened.
However, the response is poor. There are no high expectations about the turnout in the theaters but they didn’t such a low turnout.
At Varun Inox in Vishakapatnam where Bheeshma is being screened, only four members have turned out with the collections of around Rs. 632 for 3.30 PM Show.
Generally, the 7 Pm show is the busiest of the day, but on the same day, only six patrons have entered the theater which is shocking. Not more than Rs. 1000 has been generated with ticket sales.
