Recently during the media interaction, Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth revealed that he would be shooting for his upcoming film Annaatthe in January 2021. The shooting of this film was stalled due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Now, the fresh buzz circulating among Tamil media is that Rajinikanth starrer Annaathe which has Keerthy Suresh in the crucial role, has been kept on hold for the time being and will resume after elections. We have already reported that Rajinikanth is going to announce his own political party in the month of January. It is also being heard that Rajinikanth and his party will be contesting in the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections which are scheduled in May.
This is the first time Keerthy Suresh got the opportunity to work with Superstar Rajinikanth. As the movie Annaathe has been kept on hold, this is going to be a major disappointment for director Siva and Keerthy Suresh, who are associating with Rajini for the first time.
Rajinikanth starrer Annaathe is helmed by Siruthai Seva and bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The film will revolve around the story of a brother and his love for his younger sister. Annaatthe was announced in October 2019.
On the otherside, Keethy Suresh will join the sets of her Telugu film Sarkaru Vaari Paata from January 2021.
