Plus Points:
- Performance
- Comedy scenes
- Nithiin
- Keerthy Suresh
Minus Points:
- Routine story
- Slow narration
- Music
Performance: The National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh wins the heart of her fans with her performance in this romantic and comedy movie Rang De. Even an ordinary scene has been elevated through her expressions. She excelled in the emotional blocks. Nithiin looks stylish and his dialogue modulation is highlighted. Vennela Kishore is good in his role. Naresh, Rohini, Suhas, Abhinav and others perform accordingly.
Technical: There is nothing special in the story of Rang de. Though the story is routine but the screenplay is showcasing the emotions and family bonding well. Cinematography by PC Sreeram is good as captures locations in the songs quite well. His visual presentation is top notch. The music by Devi Sri Prasad are top notch but the placement of the songs looks like speed breaker. BGM is of high standards. The Production values are good for Rang De and the editing is alright.
Analysis: On a whole, Rang De has good commercial orientation with nice mix of comedy and romantic angle.
