Akhil Akkineni is all set to start the shoot of his upcoming spy thriller drama Agent which will be helmed by Surender Reddy who is known for helming Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
The sources say that the project will go on the floor soon after the conditions favor film shootings. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry Kannada superstar Upendra is in talks for a key role in Akhil Akkineni starrer Agent.
According to Surender Reddy, Upendra will be an ideal actor for the role and he is planning to approach the actor. The shooting of Agent, which was supposed to begin in April this year, has been halted due to the second wave of coronavirus. Agent is bankrolled by Anil Sunkara, and this upcoming drama marks the first collaboration of Surender Reddy and Akhil.
The last time Upendra was seen in a straight Telugu film was in S/O Satyamurthy in which Stylish Star Allu Arjun played the lead role. Currently he is working for upcoming Telugu film Ghani which is a sport based drama in which Mega Prince Varun Tej is playing the lead role. If Upendra gives his nod to Surender Reddy, the official announcement regarding his inclusion will be made officially soon.
