It is known that the young Telugu actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is all set to make his debut in Bollywood with a Hindi film which is a remake of Telugu blockbuster movie Chatrapathi, which was directed by SS Rajamouli, and in this film, young Rebel star Prabhas and Shriya Saran played the lead role. VV Vinayak has been roped in to helm the Chatrapathi remake of Bellamkonda and the regular shoot is going to start from today. The makers of the remake have planned a grand launch event today, and SS Rajamouli, who directed Chatrapathi, will attend the event as the chief guest of Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas.
The sources say that team of remake has erected a massive village set in Hyderabad. The action drama is bankrolled by Jayantilal Gada under the banner of Pen India Limited studios.
Pen Studios, headed by Dr Jayantilal Gada, has secured the remake rights of director SS Rajamouli’s Chatrapathi. Earlier during an interview, Bellamkonda Sai Sreennivas had said, “Chatrapathi remake is a perfect project for my big debut in Bollywood. It’s a great opportunity to collaborate with Dr Gada and Pen Studios and to be reunited with my first ever director VV Vinayak sir.”
On the otherside, currently Rajamouli is busy in his directorial venture RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan.
