Recently released biopic of legendary actress Savitri- Mahanati became a blockbuster at the box office. On the otherside, Nanadamuri Balakrishna has also announced biopic on his late father and Chief Minister of united Andhra Pardesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (Sr.NTR). YS Rajasekhar Reddy biopic ‘Yatra’ is also going to be helmed by Mahi V Raghav. Malayalam star Mammootty is playing YSR role in Yatra. Director PC Aditya has announced that he is going to commence the shoot of biopic of Kantha Rao – Anaganaga O Rakumarudu . Recently PC Aditya met the family member of Kantha Rao and his close friends in his native village Gudibanda, Kodad Manda, and collected the information related to the actor. He also said that he had also gathered some information from Pratap, the son of Kantha Rao. PC Aditya also announced that NTR, ANR, Krishna Kumari and Rajasri roles will also be there in Kantha Rao biopic.
Kantha Rao was born in Khammam and died at Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad on 2nd March 2009 due to cancer complications. His son Raja aka Rajeswara Rao has acted in few movies like Sudigundalu, Prema Jeevulu, Gandara Gandadu, Gundelu Teesina Monagadu and son Satyam also has also been the part of few movies like Saptaswaralu, and Gandara Gandadu. Coming to director PC Aditya, he made 100 short films within 100 days which took him to the lime light and gave him Dadasaheb Phalke award. PC Aditya, also has his name on Limca book of records and was honored with doctorate.
