Ram Gopal Varma doesn’t even know the basic ABCs of filmmaking: says P Jayakumar

Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV’s directorial venture Officer starring Nagarjuna and Myra Sareen is scheduled to hit the theaters on 1st June.  Recently www.tollywood.net reported that Ram Gopal Varma filed a police complaint against  Sakar 3 writer and young film maker P Jayakumar. (Also read: http://www.tollywood.net/ram-gopal-varma-police-complaint-against-p-jayakumar-over-morphed-photo/) In the Police complaint, Ram Gopal Varma has alleged that his photos are morphed by writer P Jayakumar and he also  shared those obscene photographs on various social media platforms. A case has been registered against P Jayakumat at Punjagutta police Station. On the other hand, P Jayakumar has accused  controversial film maker Ram Gopal Varma ‘Officer’ to be a copy of his old script.

 Recently during the media interaction, P Jayakumar opened up about Ram Gopal Varma complaint against him over morph photo. When  P Jayakumar was asked,  Is he doing all this for cheap Publicity?

P Jayakumar said, “I am not doing it for publicity. This is much more serious than casting couch. Ram Gopal Varma has filed a police complaint against me.  But I have already sent a legal notice to Akkineni Nagarjuna who is playing the lead role on Officer, and Ram Gopal Varma regarding my copyright infringement.   Ram Gopal Varma who doesn’t know the basic ABCs of filmmaking, is ready to release Officer. Ram Gopal Varma is only trying to divert the issue. His allegations are completely baseless and false.  “

Recently Ram  Gopal Varma also leaked the storyline of Officer and claimed that  the story is his idea. P  Jaya Kumar said,  “Ram  Gopal Varma cannot  make a film on an IPS officer, especially when he’s still working in the police department. It is illegal. There is a reason why a film comes with the disclaimer that all characters appearing in this work are entirely fictitious and any similarity to actual events or persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. A film possesses no reasonable prospect of securing a certificate for public exhibition from Censor Board if it violated the CBFC Guidelines. Ram Gopal Varma doesn’t even know the basic fundamentals of filmmaking.”

 P Jayakumar further said, “Recently Ram Gopal Varma also released the first single “Navve Nuvvu” from Nagarjuna starrer Officer on YouTube, which is also a copy of Abba’s The name of the game.”

P Jayakumar concluded it by saying, he is shocked, how a legend like Nagarjuna is giving chance to  Film maker Ram Gopal Varma who doesn’t know the ABCs of film making.
