Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati is currently busy in his upcoming movie Haathi Mere Saathi, which is all about the story of a mahout and an elephant. According to the latest update, Kollywood Star Vishnu Vishal has been roped in this upcoming romantic and family entertainer movie. He is the latest edition of this upcoming drama.
Vishnu Vishal has also confirmed this news vie his tweet. The actor wrote on the wall of Twitter, “Happy to b joinin hands with Dir Prabhu Solomon sir for the trilingual Haathi Mere Saathi where i wil b doin d tamil n telugu version alongside @RanaDaggubati ..my direct telugu debut..wrapped up 26 day schedule today in munnar..its not kumki 2 n also not a remake..title soon:)”
Haathi Mere Saathi is not the remake of Bollywood movie which was released in 1970 and Rajesh Khanna played the lead role. The story of this upcoming entertainer is said to be completely different and it is being made in several languages including Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Rana Daggubati will be seen portraying the role of Bandev in this multilingual big budget drama, helmed by Prabu Solomom. Pulkit Samrat is also the playing crucial role.
The sources close to the team says that the shoot has been already started and the makers have wrapped up the first schedule recently.
On the otherside, Vishnu Vishal is busy in his upcoming movies Jagajala Killadi , Raatchasan, and Idam Porul Yaeval, which are in different production stages. It is heard that Rana Daggubati has again gone through a physical transformation and has lost about 15 kilograms for Haathi Mere Saathi. Rana is also busy in his Tamil romantic and thriller drama Enai Noki Paayum Thota, in the direction of Gautham Menon in which Mega Akash and Dhanush are playing the lead role.
