Surekha Vani is well known face for Telugu audiences as she has been the part of several Telugu movies like Rarandoi Veduka Chudham, Samanthakamani, Baadshah, Dwaraka, Srimanthudu, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam, Life is Beautiful. Surekha Vani was last seen in Maas Maharaja Ravi Teja and Malvika Sharma starrer Nela Ticket in the direction of Kalyan Krishna Kurasala.
The moment Tollywood was blamed for a s*x racket that was busted recently at Chicago by US authorities, the actors and anchors faced certain restriction from the US immigration officials. Recently the actress Mehreen Kaur Pirzada was also stopped by officials of US Department of Homeland & Immigration when she was going to USA. She was questioned by US Officials for 30 minutes.
US Immigration officials have been questioning the Tollywood female stars on various aspects and it affected their visa power. The US government has officially announced that there will be no US visa granted to actresses and anchors from Tollywood. According to the latest update, Telugu actress Surekha Vani recently applied for B1B2 visa to attend ATA association event but US consulate rejected her visa after mention about ATA. The VISA of some of the Tollywood artists has been cancelled and many celebrities have to face the same in coming days. AATA, TANA and other such organisations have been alerted the same.
There is no doubt that Surekha Vani is very talented. But she is shocked as her visa has been rejected by US consulate. During her school days, Surekha Vani participated in various cultural programs. When she was in the 8th grade, she anchored children’s programs on local cable TV in Vijayawada. After Intermediate, she took up anchoring as a profession. Surekha Vani has hosted shows such as Maa Talkies and Heart Beat with her husband on MAA TV.
Recently controversial Telugu actress Sri Reddy and anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj made their statements on the racket and revealed that they were also approached by the NRI couple. Yesterday Sri Reddy revealed few names who were involved the s*x racket busted by US authorities. Surekha Vani is one of them.
According to the police report, the Telugu couple Kishan Modugumudi and his wife Chandra Modugumudi forced Telugu actresses and anchors into prostitution.
