Kathi Mahesh, has found himself in the centre of a storm for allegedly making objectionable remarks against Lord Rama and Sita in a debate in a Telugu news channel recently. Actress Madhavi Latha, who is well known face for both Telugu and Tamil audiences has slammed Kathi Mahesh for interfering in the devotional issues, which the film critic lacked the knowledge. Madhavi Latha fired on Kathi Mahesh and said, “Kathi Mahesh does not have rights to speak against Rama and Sita. Indian women are taking inspiration from Sita. If such type of objectionable comments will be made in different religions (Muslim) by anyone, the fatwa will be issued against him/her.” Madhavi Latha alleged that Kathi Mahesh’s wife could not stay with him because of his attitude. The actress has insisted Kathi Mahesh keep his understanding with him only and suggested him not to put the same before public.
Madhavi Latha made her Telugu debut with Athidi in 2007. Her popular movies are Nachavule, Snehituda, Aambala, and Aravind 2.
Recently Mega Brother also fired on Kathi Mahesh. Naga Babu said that he had an emotional connect with Lord Rama and Sita so he couldn’t tolerate such harsh comments against the Lord Ram. Naga Babu also demanded a severe punishment for the actor and film critic Kathi Mahesh for hurting the sentiments of Hindus. He also asked Telugu states Chief Minister’s Chandrababu Naidu and KCR silence over this issue.
Next day, Kathi Mahesh also shared a video on his twitter and sent strong warning to Naga Babu. Kathi Mahesh said, Naga Babu could not understand the meaning of his statement. Calling him Neechudu, Kathi Mahesh said, “Naga Babu has done a mistake and he is destroying himself.”
