Unnao: A video which shows a woman being molested by three men has surfaced from Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao, in which three men can be seen molesting a woman in a forested area. The police have not identified the woman or the three men in the video yet.
Superintendent of Police, North Unnao, Anoop Singh said, “The police has launched a search operation to nab the three accused. They are trying to find the source of the video and once the accused have been identified, strict action will be taken against the men, who are involved in this shameful act.
Anoop Singh added that the woman seen in the video has not approached the police yet. Coming on the video, the woman is seen dragging into the forests by the men who ignore her cries of “Bhaiyya, mat karo (please spare me)”. The men abuse her, threaten to beat her with slippers and shoes, one of them shouts, “We will make this video viral”.
According to the latest report, the lady was dragged out of her home in village Gangaghat by the group of 3 men. They took her to a secluded area in the nearby forest where she was molested by them.
The Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested two persons in connection with the case and they have been identified as Rahul and Akash. The Police added that they are trying to find out when this had happened.
Unnao had grabbed headlines earlier this year after a teenage girl had alleged that she was raped by Bangarmau BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar at his residence on 4th June, 2017, when she had gone to meet him seeking a job. The girl father was thrashed and sent to jail by the police. He died a few days later. Kuldeep Sengar was arrested days later amid public outrage and allegations that Yogi Adityanath government was trying to shield the accused.
