This news is confirmed by Barfi girl herself through a post on microblogging page Now the reports are coming that Ileana D Cruz has also slashed her remuneration for this film Unfair & Lovely so that she can be in the game and grab other good offers.
The film Unfair & Lovely is set in Haryana, chronicles the story of a dusky woman tamed by prejudices and biases held by the Indian society against dark skin.
Randeep Hooda starrer marks directorial debut of Balwinder Singh Janjua, screenplay writer of Saand Ki Aankh and Mubarakan. Goa girl Ileana D Cruz will be seen in titular role of Lovely. The movie is slated to release next year and it will be shot in various locations across India.
