Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is one of the biggest stars in Telugu cinema. Mahesh Babu has completed 41 years in the industry. He made his acting debut as a child artist in a 1979 film Needa, when Mahesh Babu was four years old, the first film that had him playing the lead role was Rajakumarudu, which arrived at the theaters on 30th July, 1999. The film Needa completes 41 years of its release today. It was directed by Narayana Rao Dasari.
Mahesh Babu continued to perform as a child actor in several movies, most of which featured his father Krishna. Mahesh Babu’ first lead role as an lead actor was in Raja Kumarudu, for which he won Nandi Award for Best Male Debut.
K Raghavendra Rao had directed the film Rajakumarudu and since then Mahesh Babu has had a series of big hits like Pokiri, Dookudu, Murari, Okkadu, Businessman, Bharat Ane Nenu, SVSC, Maharshi and Sarileru Neekevvaru to his credit. The movie Rajakumarudu became an instant blockbuster which was released on 30th July 1999.
Meanwhile on the work front, Mahesh Babu will be seen working with Geetha Govindam fame Parasuram in upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata in which National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh will play the female lead.
