B town actor Sonu Sood is doing his bit to fight against Coronavirus crisis. The actor who has won millions of hearts with his philanthropy during this tough time of Coronavirus pandemic, has come forward to set up a Liquid Medical Oxygen plant at district hospital in the backward Atmakur town of SPSR Nellore district in AP.
We have already reported that as the country India faces a health crisis due to Coronavirus pandemic, Sonu Sood is bringing oxygen plants from the France and other countries for installing them at various places in India. The actor who is known for playing negative roles in the movies, has been helping people with medical emergencies during the second wave of coronavirus.
As the district collector KVN Chakradhar Babu wrote a letter and revealed about the positive rate stands at 37 per cent, Sonu Sood, agreed to provide Rs1.5 Cr for the construction of the Oxygen plant. The collector explained the daily demand of 40 MTs of oxygen to the needs of thirty six Coronavirus Care Hospitals and twenty four private hospitals with a bed strength of 2,848 beds including the 310 ICU beds and 1,525 oxygen beds.
On the work front, Sonu Sood is playing a crucial role in Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal starrer upcoming film Acharya.
