The movie starring Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha Krishnan received special mention for their roles, while national award winning music composer AR Rahman’s music made fans go wow. But Rishab Shetty’ film Kantara is giving a huge shock to Ponniyin Selvan and recently released movie Godfather starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara.
According to the traders report, yesterday Ponniyin Selvan minted $68,499 from 187 loc and Godfather earned $16,053 from 116 locations from USA whereas Kantara collected $70,013 from 61 locations. Kantara is dominating on PS 1 and Godfather.
